We’re staffed by a dynamic mix of talent and high end sound professionals who service a wide range of projects from sound for film, broadcast TV and radio, to web, corporate video, interactive media, and 360° video/VR in a relaxed state-of-the-art environment. We offer a wide range of services from sound design, audio restoration, and sound mixing and sweetening to voice casting, music search and licensing, audio recording for voice overs (VO), digital patch (ISDN, Source Connect, IP DTL), video narration and audio books.
Podcast Studio
We offer many options for your podcast production. From something as simple as a live, unedited recording to full voice editing with music/commercials or guest callers, we can help make your podcast stand out with high quality sound and engineering. We also have various sized rooms to accommodate any number of in-studio guests. Are you a DIY podcaster? Rent our space as a freelance engineer and we can help you elevate your show by providing quiet, acoustically treated rooms and even better microphones for you to use on your own. Remote Recording
We are more than just a studio. Our engineers will travel anywhere you need to capture the sound you are looking for. Whether a home living room, a theater, or a live music venue, our mobile system is perfect for capturing your live performance. We can even record you in another studio! Our mobile system can record up to 32 microphone inputs, plus it records on two separate hard drives at the same time, as an on-site backup. We specialize in live music recording, we also record theater performances, comedy shows, speeches, oral history, and more. Even if you are planning to do most of your recording in studio, you might want to record certain instruments or voices in different spaces to create your aesthetic. Anywhere you want to go, we’ll go with you.
The Legals....
Our recording studio rates include an engineer. There is a fee for data storage if the studio keeps a backup disk. Payment in full is expected at the completion of each recording session. All mixes, CD-Rs, drives, etc. shall remain the property of Finch Studio Space until all invoices are paid in full by the client. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, money orders or certified checks. A 50% deposit is required to guarantee time booked. At least 7 days notice is required to transfer or be refunded the deposit.
The client must sign an agreement and will be held responsible for the actions of all artists and guests he or she brings to any session. These rules apply to all persons. There are absolutely no exceptions whatsoever. The client is liable for any and all damage they cause to our equipment due to negligence, abuse, or clumsiness.
Finch Studio Space Podcast Studio in Newburgh and the Music Studio in Newburgh will make every effort to prevent its own equipment failure, but assumes no liability for delays or charges caused by failure of our equipment during sessions. We also assume no liability for clients’ equipment, other personal belongings and guests.
